Day two putting the sub rafters in.

After some thought I changed the pitch of the sub rafters from 600mm to 400mm as the insulation can be used with 400 and 600 spacing. Some grainy night time phone pictures of half of the base with all the rafters in place.

Half of the base is built

Here is a picture of half of the base frame. It is made from 3.6m x 150mm x 50mm CLS timber main rafters that are supported by 75mm x 75mm posts fitted in to 600mm steel fence spikes.
The base will then have secondary 63mm x 38mm CLs Timber rafters every 600mm.with 100mm of recycled plastic bottle insulation between each rafter.
